Come and see CAST Committee Chair, Lisa Fernald Barker’s art work at the SLATE contemporary gallery at this year’s San Francisco Fine Art Fair, May 17-20 at Fort Mason. Lisa’s Oakland art representation, SLATE contemporary gallery is a member of Oakland Art Murmur, a group that works to increase public awareness of the arts. Slate will feature Lisa’s abstract expressionist paintings, Destinations in Color.

Oakland Art Murmur’s mission—to increase popular awareness about the arts—is in line with the Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento’s goal for the Capitol Artists’ Studio Tour and is one of the main reasons I am volunteering for the CAST event.
